SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. The creation of new impervious areas exceeding 1,000 square feet requires stormwater facilities to be installed. Projects under 5,000 square feet can utilize the calculation forms included in the permit package. The 1000-square foot exemption is cumulative of additional impervious areas. The building permit will not be released until the stormwater is approved. Please plan accordingly.
2. An application fee is required when the application is submitted.
For residential/agricultural projects, the application fee is $ 100.00. This application fee is non-refundable. Additional permit fees will be owed when the permit is issued.
For non-residential projects, a $ 500.00 fee is required with each submittal. The non-residential application fee is applied to the permit cost.
3. Zoning/Building permit applications are dropped off and picked up at LTL Consultants. Please make sure your email is listed on the application.
4. The Sewage Enforcement Officer for the Township is LTL Consultants.
5. A well permit is required prior to digging a new well.
6. A driveway permit is required for driveway entrances off Township Roads. Driveway permit applications are available at LTL Consultants.
7. Non-Residential Construction: Three sets of Construction drawings to which a registered architect or engineer has applied his or her seal and signature are required. One set will be returned with the permit. LTL performs all plan reviews and inspections, including accessibility. PA Dept. of L & I will not be involved.
